School
The school will keep you up to date with a weekly newsletter. Reminder notices are also placed on the school Facebook page and on the two signs located on Hill St and Holberton Streets.
Class
Individual classes will send home a term overview called ‘Class Comms’ and may also send home notes periodically to advise of upcoming excursions or activities. Some classes may utilise a ‘Keep in Touch’ book for messages while others choose to use an online program called ‘Class Dojo’ for communication between home and school. Class Comms will be available each term from the Documents page under 'Support and Resources'.
Parent to teacher communication
The best outcomes result from open and positive communication. For issues concerning your child, please consult with the teacher. Events in family life can impact greatly upon children and may markedly affect their behaviour and learning. We would appreciate you sharing this information. Confidentiality will be respected. Please contact the school office to arrange a mutually convenient time to convey anything you would like us to know about your child.
Other opportunities
Parent teacher interviews are held twice per year; in terms 1 and 3 in conjunction with our Health and Wellbeing Community Expo. Outside these times, teaching staff can be available to meet with parents. Please contact the school office to arrange a mutually convenient time.
