The Newtown State School tuckshop is operated by the Parents’ and Citizens’ Association (P&C) and has an award winning menu that offers a large variety of healthy choice options for students and complies with the Department of Education’s Smart Choices Strategy.
The Tuckshop has a paid Convenor who works with volunteers that assist in the selling and preparation of food.
As well as being a useful service to the students and parents, the Tuckshop is a source of fundraising for our P&C. Helping out is a fantastic way to help your school, meet new people, not to mention the buzz your kids get when they see you in the Tuckshop!
