Curriculum

Head of Curriculum - Sue Vidler

In 2012 the Australian Curriculum is being implemented throughout Queensland schools for English, mathematics and science. The Queensland Studies Authority has developed units of work for these learning areas called Curriculum to Classroom (C2C). These units are being used in all Queensland State Schools and provide consistency with teaching, learning and assessment from Prep to Year 7.

In 2013, the learning area of History will also be implemented through C2C units of work based on the Australian Curriculum.

The remaining Learning Areas of Study of Society and Environment (SOSE), The arts, Technology, Health and Physical Education (HPE) and Languages Other Than English (LOTE) are organised into levels.
